Hi. Your son is lovely. You're lucky he's so independent. My son didn't take to anything - no car seat (they are not mandatory in India), no pram, no bouncer. And he wanted to be carried around all day long. It was a miracle my back and legs survived. Thakfully, things have been getting better since he started crawling and walking but he still has his clingy moments.
